Folks, I believe this to be a case where the blind is leading the cart before the forest. And I know I’ve mashed up my metaphors here but that’s because there’s a lot going on with this thread. My thoughts have ranged from: "Meh, I guess…" all the way to "WHAT IN THE MOTHER FUCKING HELL?!!!". When I make these posts, I do my best to take the opportunity to both think it through and, more importantly, speak only for myself. However, I will say that I would be highly surprised if I’m the only one totally bewildered by the bizarre path this dialogue has taken thus far.

First off, yes, Ms. Woods has most certainly managed to set herself apart in the eyebrow category. And seemingly this would be deliberate as pointed out by the makeup comments. I have to wonder if her motivation for doing this stems from that odd phenomenon some women suffer from after having made their first trip to a tanning bed. The results of their endeavor are clearly noticeable, easily achieved, and subject to as much augmentation as an unfortunate early demise via melanoma will permit. Their thinking must be "If a little bit is good, then a lot is obviously better!". Personally, I’ve managed to overlook what I would simply deem a minor quirk given that Naomi still has the cutest face, a smoking hot body, and a noticeable regard for the fact that some things (i.e. tattoos) cannot be easily undone.

Secondly, and this isn’t a form of criticism, I believe that if she hadn’t decided that bleaching her hair is the only fun way to go through life then we would not be having this conversation. The contrast would be lacking and thus the prominence not quite so stark. During the time that I’ve gazed upon the myriad of aesthetic majesty presented by the boner-cultivating titans here at ALS, my regard for blondes in general has certainly evolved. But my default reaction in this case is to wonder what this goddess would resemble had she stayed a brunette? Perhaps a hot, young (and naked) Andie MacDowell? An even hotter (and masturbating) version of Jennifer Connelly, to name a few?


Finally, after having bitten my goddamn tongue long enough I have to wonder: How the knuckle-dragging dufus that initiated this debate has managed to secure for himself prosecutorial immunity from the ALS branch of the internet niceness police is beyond me. We’ve seen everything from the trashing of the content of the site, to heaping pedantic disrespect upon the highly laudable purveyors of this venue, to outright and sometimes undeniably racist disparagement of the models themselves. And the reaction? A very conspicuously timid collective rejoinder. I guess when the spume-sucking vermin are capable of going so low they simply no longer show up on the radar. Blows my mind, but whatever.

I’ll close by saying Naomi, you’re an absolute dream. Respect that body and stay gorgeous. ALS, keep up the good work. And SoBored, "transvestite idiot"? GO FUCK YOURSELF, ASSHOLE! It may be pointless trying to reason with a mindless troglodyte like you but then again, I don’t mind squashing the occasional insipid cockroach who happens to wander within stomping distance of my sometimes "trigger-happy" boot. Ortoton, don't sell yourself short. You are one of the commenters here who make significant positive and frequent contributions to the site. You respect the models and the work they and the ALS crew do. You offer up suggestions for things that ALS might want to try in the shoots. And, quite importantly, you don't consider these comment threads to be a place for teenage flame wars. It would be great to have more commenters who are more like you.

"SoBored" is certainly a whiner and I wish he would go away. But "the wretched" is also a troll. Have a look at his history. This recent post of his is not the first time he has flung a string of nasty comments at another member. You might also note above what he said about "SoBored"s mother--that kind of misogyny should have no place here. And a few of his comments were his effort to troll me by, of course, denying that he was a troll and pretending he didn't understand, which everybody knows is rather generic troll behavior.

Unmoderated comment threads almost never work, so it is pleasantly surprising that the ALS comments are mostly pretty good. They are made better by the kinds of things Ortoton says. They are made worse by the nasty insults from "SoBored", "the wretched", and the occasional others who amuse themselves by being mean.

Like in this case, I sometimes enjoy reading something very well written and to-the-point, as is what «the wretched» has indeed done, even if written with a sledgehammer. Especially, considering how extremely hard (and usually flawed in result) that is; the genre of writing with precision and to-the-point on some bruning topic with something verbally equivalent of a large sledgehammer.

«Fooly Cooly» is correct, though: Any comment we make here, are comments made as members among other members. And our topic is something as enjoyable as naked beautiful women having a good time.

Oh, Mr. Cooly. I thought perhaps we were making some tentative progress but I guess not. I hate the idea of having to go to extra lengths to defend myself, particularly against someone seemingly as level-headed as you, but I feel there may be a few extenuating circumstances in our relationship that I shall have to clarify. I’m going to go out on a very short limb here and venture to say that the two of us are actually more alike than you would be willing to admit. For starters, we both have an obvious affinity for a particular class of women who are among other things, slender, fit, and blessed with a natural beauty for which they hold no conspicuous desire to conceal (and that is a point that even you cannot reasonably argue). Contrary to what you have convinced yourself, we both would prefer that everyone simply got along. It would be more desirable for those who disagreed to join in a mature, effective dialogue rather than attempt to inflict misery and embarrassment upon each other to the point where the less articulate participants eventually bowed in submission. We both hate the fact that there are those in this world who hardly deserve their next meal, and yet they have somehow fallen into an abundance of wealth, fame and fortune often at the expense of others much more worthy of such entitlement. We both thumb our noses at arrogance and roll our eyes at false modesty. We enjoy watching videos of flash mobs and the ones where the bullies end up getting their asses kicked by the victims they were assailing. We both like to shave our balls- er, well that might have been a little too personal (sorry for outing you, bro).

Now, I admit we do have our differences. You seem to be under the impression that referring to an abrasive backbiter as a "mean ol’ Mr. Gripey McGriper-pants" is an effective means of driving home a point. I tend to disagree. Of course, I’ve embellished your go-to method of abasement here but that is precisely what I’m trying to illustrate when it comes to effectively communicating with a sometimes hostile adversary. I take their words, their own method of assertion and amplify it to the point where they have no choice but to take pause and consider whether or not they may be in the wrong. You see, there exists a segment of our society that not only condones this form of communication but practically begs for it. They are like salivating mutts who lunge at the chance to root through a filthy cat litter box in search of their prized delicacy. Once their objective is achieved, they suddenly realize all they’ve earned themselves is a face full of shit.

Needless to say, I wouldn’t travel to China and angrily insist that the locals sympathize with me while speaking Swahili. Likewise, I should afford more than a bit of leeway to a German if Spanish was my only spoken dialect. I’m actually a nice guy, but I’m fluent in "asshole". As for what initially draws every last one of us here is hardly debatable. By "here" I mean the site itself, and in that regard there is certainly no shame in admitting that I absolutely adore gorgeous women. If they have no reservations about revealing themselves to me in the most intimate way that a two-dimensional format will allow then I will happily oblige myself. Now when it comes to the reasons why anyone is compelled to spend more than a few minutes casually skimming through the comment section, well, there's where it gets interesting. Before I elaborate, however, I'll be taking a moment to prepare my thoughts concisely.

Great comments (but for one), we read them all. Luckily, you all moderate each other pretty well and we have thick skin, so only once has somebody really needed muting for being disrespectful towards our models and other members.
